Mikel Ameen is an amazing talented positive young man. You Have A Choice has spent the last year getting to know Mikel. Aged only 21 years he runs an organisation called Get Familyar. Get Familyar helps improve social skills and community cohesion among young people by giving them an opportunity to develop and learn performance art skills. The group helps youngsters get involved with music, drama, dance and fashion among other activities.
Mikel is also a rap and recording artist and has performed at events such as You Have A Choice and Nutmeg.
